A Dream Come True: Students of HUF School (Charity School) Competing at Aitchison College

"Alhamdulillah, my dream of bridging the gap between the rich and the poor is gradually becoming a reality, and I am deeply grateful to Allah for His blessings.

At the recent mass wedding, I saw the beauty of unity as villagers sat together in the Governor House, shoulder to shoulder. In Aitchison College, our students from Hope Uplift School shared space with students from other prestigious schools, proudly representing us. Our students excelled in five categories: Naat, Ghazal, Story Writing, Quiz, and English, bringing home numerous awards.

By Allah’s grace, I have been able to connect the pockets of the wealthy with the needs of the poor, day and night, working tirelessly to make a difference.

Masha Allah, this is the first time our students have brought home so many awards, and it wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of our head youth wing, led by Mr. Asfandyar (Advisor Youth Wing), Ms. Maryam (President Youth Wing), Ms. Neelam (Director Youth Wing), who championed our students and supported their journey.

A heartfelt thank you to the Youth Wing for sponsoring PKR 26,000 for their food and other expenses. A big thank you to the entire school for their continued hard work and commitment. Together, we are making great strides!

Exciting "Team Challenge" Event by HUF Wellness Club

The HUF Wellness Club hosted a fun-filled "Team Challenge" event, where our enthusiastic ladies participated in a series of engaging activities. Guests were divided into three teams: Green, Red, and Blue, and faced various challenges including Home Management and Culinary Skills, Singing, Drawing a Portrait of Ms. Lubna Shakoh, and showcasing their marketing skills by selling items to the audience.

Our esteemed judges for the event were Ms. Naila Tahir and Ms. Shahida Arshad.

Congratulations to Team Red, led by Ms. Asma Khalid, for winning the competition! Team Green secured the runner-up position, while Team Blue came in third.

The event concluded with a delightful chatpatti Hi-Tea that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. It was a wonderful celebration of teamwork and creativity!

The event was organized and planned by Ms. Lubna Khalid (Director, HUF) along with the marketing team which went exceptionally good.

Ms. Lubna Shakoh, Founder and President of HUF, inaugurates with the top level management and warmly invites you to visit the "HUF Book Fair" at the DHA Library, Z Block, DHA Phase 3, Lahore. Col (r) Qasim, Chief Administrator of HUF (a former employee of the DHA Library) facilitated this event through his valuable connections. Special thanks to Lt. Col. Arslan for allowing the HUF Book Fair at DHA Library.

Join us from October 28th to November 2nd, from 10 AM to 5 PM (excluding Friday), to explore a wonderful selection of books. Children from HUF School and HUF New Life Home was also be present.

Breast Cancer Awareness Session by Mr. Omar Aftab (CEO, PRC Pakistan) at HUF School

A Breast Cancer Awareness session, led by Mr. Omar Aftab, CEO of PRC Pakistan, was held at HUF School, where he was warmly welcomed by Ms. Lubna Shakoh, Founder and President of HUF, along with the top level management.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students and teachers of HUF School. Ms. Lubna Shakoh emphasized the critical importance of breast cancer awareness, while Mr. Omar Aftab shared valuable insights gathered since 2004, including symptoms and a documentary on the subject.

Following the session, Mr. Omar was given a tour of HUF School. We are also excited to announce that an upcoming MOU is in discussion, which may offer a 50% concession on Mammogram test for HUF School students and their families.

We would like to extend our gratitude to several individuals who made this event possible:

Hope Uplift Foundation proudly signed a MOU with Superior University, marking the start of a collaborative journey focused on mutual growth. This partnership opens doors for impactful initiatives that will benefit both institutions, building a lasting relationship for years to come. The signing ceremony symbolized a commitment to empower students, enabling them to contribute positively to society.

The collaboration includes a HUF Youth Wing, offering students a platform to actively engage in various initiatives, along with an internship program for hands-on experience and a HUF loyalty card provision. Environmental sustainability will be supported through the Myavaki plantation initiative, and scholarships like the Honhar Scholarship will help deserving students pursue their academic goals. This partnership will culminate in a major student engagement event in January, where a list of engaged students will be presented. Alhamdulillah, this alliance sets a promising foundation for the future.
